The Board Leadership Society of Denmark was founded in May 7, 2013 by 8 companies, 24 chairmen and 10 professors. The purpose of this non-profit organization is to continuously enhance board work in Danish corporations, firms, organizations and institutions, while improving the legal framework for board leadership.
The society promotes its objective by arranging professional meetings, seminars and conferences. It also creates a virtual network, which enables qualified discussions about sound corporate governance. The society supports the development of competences in boards and board education as it participates in national and international collaboration.
